This has been a question that if you are sleeping than someone can unlock your phone by using your fingerprint. Then how to protect it?
Since everyone can’t have a bodyguard to look after the scanner of your phone while you are sleeping, so here are 3 simple ways to safeguard the fingerprint scanner from unlocking the phone while you are sleeping.
For providing the solution, it was to look at what could be done to stop the scanner from reading your fingerprint. Now to make the scanner not to be able to read your fingerprint, you either have to do something with your fingerprint or with the fingerprint scanner of the phone.
Now you can’t do something serious with the phone’s scanner nor with your finger. Something even non-serious with your phone may cost you the repair of the scanner. But still, there are ways, of temporary nature to get things done, being available to everyone.
The ways are quite simple yet functional but are temporary so you need them every day.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH YOUR PHONE’S FINGERPRINT SCANNER
Now the above ways still require something or some effort to get done. This thing might be the most expected one and is the safest of all. Which is just……
1. DISABLE THE FINGERPRINT SCANNER WHILE SLEEPING
Yes, mind it or not this is the best way to get your phone protected from fingerprint disaster while you are sleeping. Disable the scanner before sleeping and once you wake up, re-enable it for your disposal. This thing neither requires any special task or material nor is time-consuming.
2. USE AN APP TO DO IT
There are several apps available on the Play Store (For Android) in which you can set the timer for which the fingerprint scanner will not function. That is even less of a hassle. One such example of the app is below. This app has 4.5 rating.
Neither the scanner will function nor someone will try to.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH YOUR FINGER
While as mentioned, you can’t do something serious or permanent like scratching you finger to disrupt the fingerprint or get some fake skin on it. So the Simplest way is to fill the valleys or depressions of the fingerprint. Here are the ways for it, available to everyone.
3. FEVICOL OR WHITE GLUE
Don’t underestimate it. It will work just fine. It needs to be applied in multiple layers. First, apply some amount and spread it equally over the fingerprint and let it dry. It will dry in half a minute or so. Then apply two more layers the same ways. It will act as just the base layer for it.
Last layer of White Glue
Then it is the final layer will do the trick. Apply a heavy amount and this time don’t spread. Make it uneven on your fingertip. As shown in the photo above. Try to make it more irregular than what I have done in the above photo.
The last layer Dried
It will take about 15-20 minutes to dry. But once dried it will form an uneven surface like in the above photo on your fingertip which the phone’s fingerprint scanner won’t recognize and won’t unlock.
So these were the three simplest ways to get it done. If you find this useful, do share this with the needy or you have got some idea while reading this do let all know by posting a comment.
